Cordis — from Latin cor, heart. We built Cordis Villas as a living estate where architecture dissolves into nature. Volcanic stone, reclaimed teak, linen, light. No lobbies, no crowds — just space, silence and care.
Our story & ethos
Founded in 2016 by two architects and a Balinese garden family, Cordis Villas began with one joglo and a dream: to preserve 1.2 hectares of old frangipani forest and build lightly inside it. Today the estate hosts seven villas, an organic garden, a shala and a spring-water pool — all run by a 28-person local team.
We are plastic-free, solar-assisted and farm-to-table. 70% of your menu comes from our garden and partner farms within 12 km. Every stay funds reef cleaning and scholarships for local youth in hospitality.
